Bay Area Events: Take a stroll down Solano this Sunday

by Tawny Reynolds on Sep 09, 2016

If you live in the Bay Area, you’ve probably heard of the Solano Stroll… It’s the largest street festival in the East Bay - over one mile of entertainers, food booths, local artisans, fair rides, and more!  I visited last year with my preschooler and it was everything a street festival should be, cotton candy and rides, free balloons and fireman hats, and of course tons of handmade, artisan crafts.  I’m super excited to be part of the fun this year!

Find the Sundrop Jewelry booth between Ordway and Peralta Streets, in front of Solano Cellars & Bistro.

Since 1974 Solano Avenue and the twin-cities of Albany and Berkeley CA, have hosted the Solano Avenue Stroll, the East Bay’s largest street festival! This family event promotes the unique traits of Solano Avenue, helping independently-owned businesses, artists, and community organizations to thrive by exposure and fundraising.
