It’s the symbol of enduring love, a girl’s best friend, and the symbol of eternity. While traditionally colorless or white, often diamonds have a tinge of color about them. Yellow is the most common, with some pink, blue or even green.
These sun-melted glass droplets are made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles, and have a faint greenish tinge to them, almost unnoticeable unless they’re against a white background. "There are lots of clear bottles, why not make completely clear drops," you ask? Because these unique drops are melted with sunshine focused by a giant magnifying glass! The light focuses to a hot spot that can reach up to 3,000 degrees - but only if that light is absorbed by some color. Clear air doesn’t heat up in the hot spot, and neither does clear glass.
Green in more ways than one, your April birthday girl will love these sparkling droplets of eco-friendly glass jewelry - and at a pocket-friendly price!
Show off your favorite liquor with jewelry made from recycled bottles - or just bask in the vibrant glow of light shining through the translucent glass.
Are you tired of having to polish your silver? Tarnish-resistant Argentium sterling silver is easy maintenance, with a brighter, whiter color than traditional sterling silver. And, it is 100% recycled! (Not only is mining terrible for the environment in various ways, working with recycled silver uses only 5% as much energy (and emissions) compared with virgin silver ore. Now that’s eco-friendly!)
Best of all, you don’t have to worry about allergic reactions. Naturally hypoallergenic, Argentium silver is nickel-free.
Your jewelry will arrive in a classic white jewelry box tied with a ribbon.
You are unique and original, and your jewelry should be too! Each drop of glass is handmade in the artist’s backyard studio in Berkeley, California. Using a giant magnifying glass to focus sunshine, recycled bottles and stained glass were melted into these translucent, flowing drops under the open sky! No pieces are exactly alike.
Polish with a soft cloth, such as an eyeglasses or jewelry polishing cloth. Never use tissue or paper towels, as the fibers may scratch the metal.
If needed, wash with mild soap in warm water and dry completely with a soft cloth. (Moisture is a leading cause of tarnish, so never put your jewelry away while still damp!)
